Welcome to The Conflict Monitor an indicator-based security and conflict (IBSC) blog. 

Objectives:  open source research, evaluation and dissemination of IBSC information.

Topics: strategic, asymmetrical, global, regional, and local conflicts, as well as news and analyses on security issues relating to environment, infrastructure, defense, military, health, space, and cybersecurity. 

Interactivity: As of now comments are prohibited but contributions of articles are welcome to be posted after review. 

Accountability Disclaimer: materials are selected from a vast variety of sources worldwide, and the full credit and accountability of their content is reserved to those sources and only. Priority is given to content with emphasis on their IBSC value on escalation and deescalation and articles may be biased and even inaccurate as long as they provide value to tracing the direction of a crisis or situation.
